May 1st

In France May 1st is Labor Day. Absolutely everything is closed that day, stores, offices, even public transportation!

I've been living in Canada for 3 years now, and I have to say, it still feels weird to see people working that day.

Yesterday I've asked my boss if we could close the office today (with humour of course), we should follow the holidays of every nationalities represented in the office :p

He thought it would be a good idea... but I'm still at work today... life is unfair lol

Next year, I'll ask him again, never give up !!!
